Is it a bird, or a telephone? One of the caiques favorite noises to mimic is indeed the telephone. The site owners birds mimic both the home phone, and two versions of cell phone rings. Other common household noises they delight in mimicking include the microwave, fire alarm, and security alarm ‘beep’.
